Jessica E. Adler, the founder of The Law Office of Jessica E. Adler, is an experienced attorney who concentrates her practice in all areas of family law. She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar (Member, served on the Board of Governors and former Co-Chair of Family Law and Law Practice Management Sections), the Virginia State Bar (Member, Family Law Section), the Virginia Bar Association (Member, Domestic Relations Section), the Bar of Maryland, the Maryland State Bar Association, the United States Supreme Court Bar, the Ohio State Bar (inactive), the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia (Past President; former Co-Chair, Solo and Small Firm Forum), and Hadassah (Attorneys' Council). She served on the board for the local chapter of the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association. She has been elected to the D.C. Bar Board of Governors as well as to the D.C. Bar Steering Committees for both the Family Law Section and the Law Practice Management Section. Jessica has also served as Vice-Chair to the D.C. Bar's Practice Management Service Committee. Jessica has completed training in divorce mediation as well as collaborative law. She served as President of the Women's Bar Association of the District of Columbia for the 2013-2014 bar year. She has an AV Preeminent rating with Martindale Hubbell, has been named a Super Lawyer in Family Law by Super Lawyers, and has been included in Washingtonian magazine's list of Top Lawyers for Divorce and Family Law. She practices in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Jessica has volunteered at the District of Columbia Superior Court's Self Help Center where she servesd as a family law professional as well as the DC Bar's Advocacy & Justice Clinic. She has served as a Guardian ad Litem in the District of Columbia. She also does frequent community service work.

Prior to opening her own practice, Jessica was an associate with The Lewis Law Firm, where she focused on all aspects of domestic relations law. Before she joined The Lewis Law Firm, Jessica worked with the law firm of O'Connell & Associates, where her practice focused on divorce taxation.

She received her B.A. with honors, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, in 1997, and her J.D. from the Ohio State University College of Law, in 2000. Jessica was the Associate Editor of the Journal on Dispute Resolution at the Ohio State University College of Law.

Jessica is a member of the Anti-Defamation League's Regional Board as well as their Executive Committee, a past recipient of the Daniel L. Ginsburg leadership award and current Regional Deputy Board Chair.
